The farmers are at the presentations, many epidemiological studies have shown a relationship between exposure to pesticides and developmental disorders. Today, these disturbances are attributed to a malfunction of the hormonal system. Indeed, compared to the general population, farmers are more frequent illnesses involving the hormonal system. Conversely, the frequency of breast cancer in the farming population is lower. But researchers attribute this finding to a higher physical activity and lower exposure to risk factors among women working in the agricultural environment.
